It’s all starting to come together. After RobBob and The Cpt worked their magic on the kitchen backsplash, we are really just a few measley steps from being completed. The cabinets need more more coat of paint - we need to finish the trim under the counter tops and finally (and this one will take the longest no doubt) we need to figure out what to do with the lighting.

But as we pull together some of the finer details, I thought I’d share some goodness. The ceramic tray that holds the hand soap, the dish soap and the dish cleaner (in the lovely blue glass) is a little touch of colour, and so is the collection of cooking utensils in the white container. That container, by the way, is a $3 Ikea purchase that I just spray painted the inside white. The cutting board behind it also adds some colour and I’m just pleased as punch at how all this is turning out!
