Ooooh I’m loving this DIY project by FellowFellow. So simple - find a vintage photo of a big house or a castle and carefully cut it out. Wrap it around a votive and pop a candle in. These are very cool little lanterns - something totally different and they reek of my favourite word lately. Texture. Texture is all I can think about - it’s just not about colour for me anymore. It’s about texture, both visually and orally in a way. It’s about the ways things feel and smell - it’s about the idea that you can visually run your hand over something - the look of it can induce the physical sensation of touching it! Am I crazy?
