CBC Music
You know I’m a die hard rdio. com fan. Die hard. I love it. The best $15 I spend every month, for unlimited listening to my desktop and mobile.
But you may also have realized that I’m super into CBC. CBC is more than Canadian - it’s Canadiana. If you don’t spend much time listening to any one of their three radio stations, why not give CBC Music a try - it’s got 12...

Dreamy Gig →
Houzz is looking for blogger/photographers. IF ONLY I was already loaded (because I highly highly doubt this is a paid gig) and I could just wander the streets, stop interesting looking people and ask them what their homes look like.
But the posting also calls for accurate grammar and spelling and there will be NONE of that here, fine sir!

A Vintage Affair
Last weekend, on a quick jaunt out on Saturday with Bethy to get some air, we decided to take a cruise through A Vintage Affair, a true blue vintage shop that houses some incredibly unique pieces.
The gals who run this place are super friendly - what I like about it is that they know the story and the background to probably every item that they carry. I love that! I think it’s so important...

I know - I barely posted last week. Well, you’re not paying me so I don’t know why I’m apologizing to you but I was busy, mmmmk? I was busy at work, but I was insanely busy otherwise with volunteering stuff and then setting up the NEW OFFICE!!! I’m so excited. It’s still not finished - when it is, you can blammmmo expect pics.
So to kick things back into action,...

Beth's Magazine Table
There are some pieces that have so much character, you can’t possible part with them. And there are some pieces that come with that kind of character and a big splash of sentimental value that means you double would do anything for them. Forget saving your husband in a fire - you’re saving that table or that book.
Beth’s Grandma gave her this amazing, vintage magazine table...

Up, up, up, up, up in the air
The best thing about rdio is that they they both recommend new music for you based on what your currently have in your collection AND they tell you what the rest of your network is listening too, which is a totally different way of finding new music.
Bobbing my head and singing along to this one by Group Love, called Never Trust A Happy Song. Please - I always trust happy songs!

Yesterday was all about fashion photos
So maybe today will be all about music? Here’s The Asteroids Galaxy Tour singing The Golden Age.
This is the one of the BEST Friday songs. There are two things that hook me right away with any music - horns or a ukelele. I know.

Today's the Day
Kristen Price - These Silent Nights.
The song “Today’s the Day” reminded me of that uplifting little phone wallpaper I added yesterday. So I’m sharing the love because I’m loving these guys.

What can we call this?
Vintage? Classic? Ole Skool?
I think Classic. Adele - the entire world’s woman of the hour.

He had me with that hello.
Feeling inspired by this post at Design*Sponge (which I can’t even find anymore - WHY didn’t I Pin it?) I was not surprisingly inspired to make a hand made card for The Cpt. The card I was originally inspired by used paper from old novels and had cute cut outs and it was so cute, the way it looked in the photos. Since I’m on an upcycling kick, I decided that using scrap paper was...
The greatest love story I've ever read
Honestly. This is a love story. Antonia Fraser is a renowned historical writer, who weaves fact and fiction together to make stories of the ages somewhat bearable to the average reader. Harold Pinter, is of course, Harold Pinter. One the best playwrights of the 20th century.
Two amazing, interesting, intelligent people. Two soul mates. They met, they fell...
Love from our favourite friends :)
Let me count the ways…
Go Paperless already
Have you Paperless Posted yet? Um. I love it. In fact - in 15 years, when no one has a Grandma that doesn’t have email anymore, I have no doubt that most wedding invitations will be done by beautiful sites like this.
If you still need to send a Valentine, and maybe it’s to your Mum across the country, or your girlfriend in Berlin (SARAH!) then Paperless Post is the sweetest, fastest,...
